They are using low amps of electricity generated by car/truck generator to generate small amounts of hydrogen that are fed into air intake of gasoline/diesel engines — improving fuel economy and reducing emissions. Dong Feng Motors in China has signed a letter of intent to incorporate their technology. Seems as though this might be a low-cost way to improve things while we are waiting for more widespread adoption of purely hydrogen-powered vehicles. I’ve also emailed them the link to your article, because I believe they are using platinum and would welcome a cheaper approach.
