There are larger wind installations in the U.S., this one is unique because it is the largest installed by a single manufacturer for its factory – at least so far.

I find it hard to believe that a meager 7 million is the largest installation of wind in the U.S.

There must be a larger installation somewhere. If Pickens put up a fraction of the enormous generators he bought a couple years ago the installation should top that.
