We can choose between 3 power purchase agreement companies SunRun, Solar City and Sungevity, and be part of the group discounts too through 1 BOG.

Any Californian with a bill over about $130 can go SunRun for $0 down and start saving from the first month. (I’m sure the other two are similar, but have no personal experience.) And 1BOG knocks at least 15% off the price, which affects savings even more.

The main reason I, and people I know, do not install solar panels at our homes is due to the high cost.

There are plenty of people who are eager to install solar panels if the cost was lower.
