The demand is 80 (in three months) while they have been able to deliver only 45.

I wouldn’t call 80 units over 3 months OVERWHELMING. It is not even 1 a day. Their annual sales of Prius’ are around 250,000. Though it is green, compared to the 12M vehicles sold in India, it is essentially ZERO.
