The sad part is we are unites states citizens....we should be working together to increase this technology and help the country as a whole...instead we are divided by states, political views, etc....other countries will soon surpass us if we keep bickering over each other...we have the capability to come together and overcome all nations with our clean energy technology, like history tells us we'll screw it up over political or state division....I'm from san diego, moved to arizona (prior to the immigration law). I think it's all amazing how this country is divided....does not seem like (UNITED STATES) we should be called (DIVIDED STATES) of America...

Hope you don't mind but I'd like reply to your comment and another comment I received regarding the same line. Usually we think of the energy access dynamic on an international level (Iraq being the most recent example), but Arizona's action demonstrates that energy access can be weaponized (I don't mean that literally, by the way) within national borders as well. More local production of sustainable energy will reduce the strength of that weapon (metaphorically speaking, again).
