Doesn’t really matter what the US does now. China is streaking ahead in terms of renewables, and not just a bit, currently they are miles in front are are only going to get further. Solar panels are now coming out of China at $1per watt, so anyone that says this tech is not viable is brainwashed or employed by the fossil industry.

We did build this civilisation on oil, but now there are alternatives and we need to use them.
