Cruise ships have so much refrigeration on board, to cope with the tons of food being stored for long periods of time to feed hundreds of people. many ships are looking to reduce energy costs and the amount of fuel being used by reducing the amount of time the compressors are running. a product from the UK which is NSF certified for food safety is hitting our shores. Celebrity and Princess are investing in alternative engines that reduce the output of emissions during operation. these are the high quality people,this is not possible for a normal class people.

General Electric’s Alternative Engine technology is being added to Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruise Ships, not to adapt the existing fleet, but to ensure that the alternative technology in used in the development of all new ships.this is a good thought.

Can anyone explain why energy sources which are known to be heading us towards Armagheddon are said to be “conventional” whilst those which don’t have this failing – so immediately – are dubbed “alternative”. There, is in fact, only one kind of energy. It’s called “energy” and, and far as I am aware, it can be obtained directly, or indirectly via the weather, from the Sun, or released from a variety of sources – mostly built-up from sunlight of bygone years.

Why should there be this arbitrary discrimination with a bias to what we have done before ?
