I KNOW THE LOCATION FOR THE SIERRA TOWERS,i WORKED THERE i RAN CONDUIT AND RAN WIRE THOUGHT THE PLANT.TAKE THE iNTERSTATE 14 DRIVE PAST PALMDALE GOING NORTH TOWARDS THE END OF LANCASTER EXIT G STREET GO RIGHT ON THE EXIT GO ABOUT A MILE ,YOU’LL SEE IT TOWARDS YOUR RIGHT

I find it fascinating how quickly this was made and how much power can be pulled out of it. I think that every building in Manhattan should be required to put solar panels on the roof and eventually all commercial buildings as well. Instead of having black roofs that just soak up heat energy and waste it, they could gather much more energy and use it to power much of their electrical needs.

This is exciting… not only the sheer possibility of solar energy as a primary source for the United States, but how quickly this facility was built and now up and running.

I was reading about plans for a company that plans to do something similar on the east coast, in New York…really cool to think about not only the obvious energy benefits that would come with this, but the jobs that would be created with this project: http://www.greenchipstocks.com/articles/solar-new+york-david+patterson/402
