The military has realized that it’s significantly cheaper to generate electricity where it’s used instead of trucking in fuel to power generators. Saves $$$ and saves lives. This project is being done in the US, but I’m sure the lessons learned from it will be applied in the battlefield.

Finally! Good to see. The military and especiaslly the DOD sponsered research programs like having the aquaculture boys pilot test algae growing for next gen canned ag programs is really getting ramping up on green alternative these days.

Cool. It’s nice to see that the government is taking an initiative in setting up sustainable energy sources. Hopefully others will follow their lead, which will start the process of making things like solar panels affordable and accessible to the rest of us.
