The fundamental deception is that Cap and Trade isn’t about energy, it’s about redistribution of wealth. We’ve let political forces hijack the environmental movement, using all we’ve accomplished to push an experimental utopian social and political agenda. These folks came in the door without showing any credentials, and we have let pirate the green movement. These folks are focused on accumulating power and control, and anything to do with sustainable, carbon neutral energy is incidental to their agenda. Historically, only a free market can create both the demand and infrastructure that will make sustainable energy…self-SUSTAINING.

This is a non polluting, clean and the most versatile source of power to help extanding our physical and mental limits, including agricultural processes; but the connection or reference to “socialism” in the context of the article does not seem to be a valid one. Socialist agriculture or socialized farming system has nothing to do with the prospect in the Vilsac remark.
