Of the many necessary roles, power protection is important, but small in absolute numbers.

Also – I think that there is plenty of glamour and glitz in the trades and skilled labor jobs … especially a high-paying job, green or regular flavor.

All the clean energy jobs in the world will not change a thing if there are no Power Protection Engineers graduating to take the place of the soon to be retiring Power Protection Engineers.

Bottom line, the USA imports more PPE’s than it produces. Time for a new crop of home grown PPE’s… but hey, that doesn’t fit in with the 15 minutes of fame, glamor & glitz mentality that exists here in the USA… Just import more foreigners and then complain about it…
