This is ridiculous it rakes fossil fuels to move those cars and it ultimately makes each car that drives over it slighly less efficent. Don't these people understand the laws of physics, this energy has to come from somewhere and in a car it comes from burning gas. The only place they could be logically placed is where there is already a speed bump installed. Then the cars are already being made less efficient so we might as well use that energy.

What about all the wasted energy a car uses as the driver sits waiting to stuff his face with a 500 calorie burger????

Solve the problem... don't use band aids!!!!

If they are going to install these, they should also put something similar on all the seats inside the restaurant. The 300lbs customers could generate plenty of kinetic energy. Oh wait, they won't fit in the chairs and will have to use their electric scooter to pickup their meal. At least we will have speed bumps to power the scooters.
