Astounding! Make it a little longer, add another capacitor and it's good for three hours! How long will it run my calculator, watch, radio, ipod, voltmeter? Next they'll have one for my tandem seated carbon fiber, high speed eco-commuter, and I won't have a gas bill at all! Now, if I can just get this fat American ass of mine down to 150 pounds as my doctor recommends, the Eco-commuter will go twice as far per charge! All this progress, just because we approach the end of the "Cheap oil era" I can hardly take all the good news in! We are going to change for the better America!

It only lasts for 90 minutes? Well that's ok for at-home use but useless for camping. I'll stick with my mercury-heavy environmentally irresponsible batterypowered flashlight.

My favorite is the bogo light flashlight - works great, good light, I never have to deal with batteries.

http://www.bogolight.com/

It is a wonderfully engineered flashlight powered by a solar cell with battery.

You buy one and give one free to a family in Africa - helps them to read at night without exposure to kerosene lamps which causes epidemic bronchitis.

Ultracapacitors are really starting to show up on the market. I like to see this flashlight. I saw the ultracapacitor FlashCell screwdriver recently too that charges in 90 seconds. I like to see charging time change... I can't wait for the cell phone version.

www.ultracapacitors.org is a good reference too on this technology.
