I can't hear enough about this new technology. Seriously, there is no better way I can imagine to bridge short-term energy needs in a way that avoids more coal-fired plants, especially in the northeastern US.

In a fast growing ex-urban area such as Fairfax County, VA this type of power source would be the perfect addition. In fact, I know there have been years-long negotiations with local power companies/cooperatives to string a new set of high-tension lines somewhere in Northern Virginia. No one wants them in their backyard and, frankly, there's not really any place to put them except literally in someone own back yard anyway. HPG's could easily be incorporated into the existing power infrastructure at little additional expense then for the cost unit themselves.
