I've been running a hot water system like this for 20 years, using tap water through EPDM tubing which freezes solid without damage. No worries about antifreeze contamination. So, phooey on all this freeze protection.

What! You mean we don't have to go nuclear, and live one human error from Armageddon? We don't owe the folks of Chernobyl for their demonstration of how safe a fission reaction of any sort really is once it is started? We can heat ourselves, our greenhouses, our aquaculture and our asses with sun? Where do we line up! Who do we pay for the sun? Next, you will be telling me Wind can cook food and charge battery cars and I won't have to pay for gas anymore! Ocean waves just move up and down forever, how in hell do you cook a steak on that? Even the tides keep moving forever, and some fools think they can use them to power their computers and things - Bullshit! I say, Bullshit! you need to burn gasoline for cars, diesel won't do, burn coal for power, and forget this "green" crap, and use fission wherever possible, its really safe if you wear a lead suit or something! but most of all, don't fall for the greenies propaganda - their sources of power are so weak, they'll have us starving in the dark around wood fires if we listen! But hot water - what a farce! what do they think we are boiled eggs?
