		<description>This is the same idea as taxing cigarettes; it is a plan to increase revenue from an activity, rather than to stop the activity. If you want to stop something, ban it. This will just make the commute more miserable.



If you want more people using public transit give the a positive reason, give them something they desire in transportation that so far only cars have given them. To beat cars public transit must be better that the current car experience. That is not the same as making the car experience worse. Innovate, don&#039;t punish. Punishing people with fewer lanes and higher parking fees won&#039;t change there actions.</description>
