Painful Earth Day experience in the DC area. I am a resident of The Whitney at Bethesda Theater, run by Bozzuto (Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda). The building celebrated Earth Day 2011 by tearing down several full grown perennials including trees and ornamental bushes. The reason: the building decided on a new design. I am distraught and deeply saddened. I am also furious to realize that my rent money is supporting such egregious management decision and is linked to the death of these beautiful plants. Bozzuto boasts of being "Voted Nation's Best Management Company by NAHB(r)". NOT! I hope to move out soon. : ( But I also hope to hear from others about ideas to bring about more corporate responsibility.

Here at TitanTv, we’re so proud to hear that everyone is chipping in and doing their best to participate in Earth Day 2008. Here is a funny piece we did, while informing people in the streets of New York, how they, too, can have a great April 22nd.
